When Michael Bloomberg founded this company, he made giving back a part of its DNA. As we’ve grown, we’ve been able to do more and more for the world around us. Today, nearly all profits from Bloomberg LP go to Bloomberg Philanthropies, which is dedicated to saving and improving lives around the world. Every Bloomberg employee, in every one of our offices, makes that work possible.
We manage our business better by integrating environmental, social and economic considerations into our operations, products and services. For example, our new European headquarters in London – rated the most sustainably designed building in the world by BREEAM sustainability standards – uses 73% less water and 35% less energy than a typical office building of its size.
And we’re helping others to be more sustainable, too. For instance, nearly 15,000 of Bloomberg customers are using environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data on the Bloomberg Terminal to identify risks and opportunities to their business.

Bloomberg University gives everyone here a chance to keep learning. It has courses that will teach you technical skills, and modules that will make you better at your job in lots of other ways. You can take them in the classroom, or go at your own pace online. We have training in communicating more effectively, financial markets, leadership, and coding, to name just a few.
